POSITION SUMMARY
 

This position, under the general supervision of departmental Supervisor and in accordance with established enrollment regulations, will process subscriber additions, deletions and changes to reflect current enrollment status. Initiates correspondence requesting additional information or verification.

 Data Entry of Membership Data
    - Prepares and data enters new applications to IMS System.
    - Analyzes change and termination requests and determines disposition; data enters transactions into
        system accordingly.
    - Receives and reviews batch control reports to determine successful transactions and directly     accesses files via CRT to make any necessary corrections.
     - Is alert to problems or unique situations encountered; notifies Supervisor as needed.

OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Attend regularly scheduled departmental meetings
- Performs other duties as assigned.
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

- High school diploma or equivalent with formal training in accounting
- Competence in data entry and business mathematics
- Additional training in business courses and business office machine practice beneficial
- A minimum of two years of progressive assignments in the department plus a minimum of six months within theclassification to learn routines and procedures and     otherwise achieve proficiency
- Must possess full and current knowledge of TOPS as well as CRT and data entry functions
- Must retain poise and composure under pressure
- Must have complete and current working knowledge of enrollment regulations
- Must be able to meet or exceed department performance standards of 95% Quality and 12 Receipts per hour
- Maintains high regard for member privacy in accordance with the corporate privacy policies and procedures
- Ability to work independently and manage projects to completion with tight timeframes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to strategize and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Regular and reliable attendance is expected and required
