This is a full time, three year approved, grant based position
POSITION SUMMARY
This position’s primary function is to manage all administrative aspects of Monroe Plan’s Behavioral Health/ SAMHSA Grant including, but not limited to: project work plan, timeline, budget, subcontract arrangements, and program process integrity. This individual will convene monthly meetings of the program partners and will conduct provider outreach, recruitment, facilitation for DATA-2000 waiver participation in conjunction with the MP Behavioral Health Medical Director. The incumbent will assist the partner practices in the facilitation of the co-location of Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) counselors at the participating provider clinics. This individual will conduct regular quality assurance site visits of practice sites, participate in quarterly learning groups, and plan/implement the adoption of value-based payment mechanisms for office-based Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and OUD psychosocial services. This person will also manage project data with the Program’s Informatics Analyst and Grant Evaluator, complete reports, and serve as SAMHSA’s point of contact for the program.

- Attend regularly scheduled behavioral health departmental meetings
- Participate in plan activities that will integrate SAMHSA grant activities with improvement of healthcare delivery for enrollees
- Perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in a health, behavioral science, public health or related field
- Experience in grant writing/grant management preferred.
- Strong written and communication skills with the ability to write clear, structured, articulate, and persuasive proposal responses.
- Strong editing skills with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience working in deadline-driven environments.
- Able to work well in a team environment, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- High level initiative, problem solving, and collaboration abilities.
- Able to effectively coordinate efforts across different organizational departments and also with external organizations.
- Able to monitor and meet program goals.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite and use of the Internet.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate degree in health, behavioral science, public health or related field preferred
- Previous experience in grant writing and grant management preferred
